Teacher- full time

Maternity Cover – NQT or Experienced Teacher

Salary:  TMS or UPS

Starting Date:  4th January 2018

When we asked our children what they look for in a class teacher they told us that they want, “Someone I can look up to who is fun, fair and enjoys their job.” Is this something you are looking for? After all, a child is only at school for 12% of the year and so we believe we really need to make those hours memorable!

At Ladygrove we pride ourselves on being a continually forward-thinking and responsive school who build future leaders.  Our staff are creative, have warm personalities, work effectively as a team and are very supportive of each other.  We have a well-resourced environment and very supportive parents. Our children are friendly, hard-working, confident pupils, who strive to do their best.

We are looking to appoint a full-time teacher to cover the maternity leave of a KS2 teacher starting in January 2018 at our two form entry, oversubscribed primary school.  The successful candidate will be passionate about learning, dedicated to the school values and demonstrate a growth mind-set, as well as adhering to our commitment to the mental health of our children and staff.  In return, we will offer full support to the successful candidate including an induction programme with helpful guidance documentation and a school mentor.  Likewise, if you are already experienced and wish to progress your career, we will seek to plan opportunities for this during the cover period.  The successful candidate would work closely with the other teachers and the SLT to achieve success with their pupils and in their own career.

Visits are warmly encouraged.  Please contact Sarah Richards-Turner on the above telephone number or email her at office.2609@ladygrove-park.oxon.sch.uk  to arrange a mutually convenient date and time.

Closing Date:                   Thursday 12th October, noon

Shortlisting Date:            Friday 13th October – contact will be made by phone or email

Interview Date:               Tuesday 17th October 2017
