Term 5
Our enquiry question for Term 5 is ‘What do forces actually do?' To explore this question, the children are going to be scientists, engineers and mathematicians. The term will culminate with the children answering the enquiry question through designing a ‘machine’ inspired by Rube Goldberg that demonstrates knowledge of different forces (push, pull, magnetism, gravity, friction) and mechanisms (levers, pulleys, gears).
