"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence therefore is not an act but a habit." Aristotle (Greek philosopher and polymath)
Welcome to Year 6

Term 3
This term our enquiry is: Linnaeus and Darwin - what connects them? To explore this question, the children are going to be scientists, historians, artists and philosophers. We are investigating how living things have changed over time (Darwin) and how fossils provide us with information about living things that inhabited the earth millions of years ago. We also explore how living things are classified into broad groups according to common observable characteristics; this leads us to Linnaeus’s classification of living things.
